A hose is a flexible hollow tube used to transport fluids from one place to another. Hoses are sometimes known as pipes or, more broadly, tubing. A hose is typically cylindrical in form. Hose fittings are used to connect hose lines to other hose sections, equipment, or other components. Straight pieces are often joined by fittings or specifically constructed connectors and joints to form systems.
